Novo Nordisk in Canada was established in 1984. Since then, our work has focused on helping to improve the lives of people living with diabetes and other chronic diseases where we can make a significant difference.
In Canada, we employ more than 300 people in a wide range of
professions - from field-based roles such as sales representatives and
clinical trial monitors to head office roles such as medical,
regulatory, marketing, human resources and more.
In 2020, Novo Nordisk Canada was recognized as a Top 100 Employer in
Canada and was recognized as a Greater Toronto Area Top Employer, a
distinction held for several years.
Over the years, we have maintained a smaller company atmosphere despite our growth. We take steps to ensure employees feel valued and are given opportunities to advance their careers. Our programs include performance-based rewards and recognition, investment in training and development, family-friendly benefits such as scholarships and flex time, progressive environmental policies, generous health benefits and vacation polices - and community involvement initiatives such as the JDRF Revolution Ride to Defeat Diabetes, World Diabetes Day, World Obesity Day, World Hemophilia Day and more.
We offer a healthy and engaging work environment. Employees are
encouraged to build strong relationships, both at work and play!
Employees are invited to participate in recreational sports/activities
both at the office or nearby after work. For example, employees may
play a game of billiards at lunch or play softball together after
work.
Putting patients first is at the heart of everything we do. Since the very beginning, our success as a company has been our ability to put patients first, engage our employees in meaningful work and ensure a fiscally responsible return on our invested resources.
At Novo Nordisk Canada you are part of a compassionate culture that is committed to serving patients and ensuring that they are at the centre of everything we do. Our success is due to our commitment to patients, people and products.
At Novo Nordisk Canada, we offer an extensive employee development plan in order to attract and retain the best employees. We have a robust recruitment process in place to ensure that we hire people who are ambitious and driven and will fit well in our friendly team culture. Accommodations throughout the recruitment process are available upon request to all applicants with a disability. In our culture, everyone's opinion is valued and respected. In return, we ask our employees to be ambitious with their goals and strive for excellence. In short, we work with you to develop your life-changing career.
